We launched a new website for Family Health Centers of Southwest Florida, a community health center that cares for families in seven communities across Lee, Charlotte and Hendry counties. Every FHC office serves patients regardless of their ability to pay, so the site had one big job: make it as easy as possible for anyone to find care.

Find care in two clicks
Most visitors arrive with a simple question: who can see me, and where? So we put the answer right in the hero. Patients pick a service, such as pediatrics, dental, women’s health or optometry, choose a city and go straight to matching providers and offices. The headline rotates through FHC’s services so new visitors quickly understand how much care is available under one roof.
Providers, pharmacy and support up front
Below the hero, clear cards lead to more than 100 provider profiles, the pharmacy, social services and disease management resources. The patient portal, bill pay and careers links sit in a slim utility bar at the top of every page, so returning patients never have to hunt for them.

Seven communities, one appointment line
FHC has offices in Bonita Springs, Cape Coral, Estero, Fort Myers, LaBelle, Lehigh Acres and Port Charlotte. Each community gets its own card with links to its offices and providers, and a single central scheduling number is repeated wherever patients might need it.

Every location links to its offices and providers.

What we built
- A service and location search built into the homepage
- Profiles for more than 100 providers
- Location pages for all seven communities
- Quick links to the patient portal and bill pay
- Telehealth information for adult medicine patients
- A mobile-first layout for patients on their phones
Built for every patient
A health center website has to work for everyone, including patients who use screen readers, keyboard navigation or larger text. We built the site with clear headings, strong color contrast and labeled forms, and we continue to keep it accessible. You can read more about that work in our post on WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility for health centers.
Congratulations, FHC
It is a privilege to support an organization that does so much for Southwest Florida families. If your health center or nonprofit is ready for a website that puts patients first, we would love to talk.
