Brian Joseph Studios is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is also a core part of the work we do for our clients, so we hold our own site to the same standard.

Our Standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with visual, hearing, motor and cognitive disabilities.

What We Do

  • Design with sufficient color contrast and readable type sizes
  • Provide text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Use clear heading structure and descriptive link text
  • Make menus, forms and interactive features usable with a keyboard
  • Label form fields and provide clear error messages
  • Test pages with automated tools and manual keyboard and screen reader checks

Known Limitations

Some older blog posts, third-party embeds and documents may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We are reviewing this content and fixing issues as we find them.
