This is a dream (we didn’t even know we had) come true for small business owners. USAA Bank, with one location currently in San Antonio, have announced that they will be updating their iPhone application to allow people to simply take a picture of a check, and submit it to be deposited. In addition, the check does not have to be mailed in, or provided in physical form to the bank, you simply write “Void” over the check and save it for your own records.

This is an innovative and impressive way USAA Bank are going about embracing the mobile, global market and processes like this will only become even more normal as time goes by. It is exciting to see the potential of mobile devices and everyday events like banking joining in a such a time saving, powerful way.
